The VIVA Family Educational Day is our annual afternoon dedicated to childhood cancer survivors and their families. It's a chance to learn about important survivorship topics, connect with fellow survivors and caregivers, and speak directly with healthcare professionals in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Meet the experts

  • Dr Yee Ruixiang, KK Women's and Children's Hospital
  • Dr Sharad Govil, Amazing Hearing Group Pte Ltd
  • Ms Derlinder Kaur, KK Women's and Children's Hospital

And many more!

What's happening

Life after treatment brings its own questions, and this year's programme is designed to help families find practical answers.

  • Learn from the experts: pick up easy, everyday tips on oral care, hearing health and staying active.
  • Real journeys: hear first-hand from caregivers and survivors of childhood cancer, and take part in a discussion on psychosocial wellbeing.
  • Live Q&A: ask our experts anything.
  • Supervised play corner: for children under 12, so parents and caregivers can join the sessions with peace of mind.

Refreshments will be provided, and families are welcome to round off the day with a trip to the Flower Dome.

Don't miss out: free movie screening in December

The first 20 families to sign up will be invited to a free screening of The Fantastic Four: First Steps at VivoCity in December. Details will be shared at a later date.

Whether you're a survivor, parent, sibling or caregiver, we'd love to see you there.
