📍 VIVA Hub, Singapore  |  🎟 Free Admission

The VIVA Cell and Gene Therapy Symposium 2026 brings together healthcare professionals and researchers to discuss the latest advances in clinical cell and gene therapies. The symposium focuses on translational science, real‑world clinical applications, and emerging developments shaping the future of regenerative medicine.

Complementing the symposium is a pre‑symposium, hands‑on workshop on Integrated TIL Therapy Workflow: From Spatial Analysis to Cell Manufacturing, organised by Miltenyi Biotec. This workshop introduces an integrated workflow for tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) or solid tumour cell therapies. Participants will explore key steps, starting with spatial analysis of tumor tissue to support biomarker and target discovery, followed by tissue dissociation techniques designed to preserve cell viability and functionality. Once obtaining viable single cell suspension, the workflow continues with a gentle, sterile and high purity GMP-compliant sort of specific cell populations of interest. The session concludes with the production of clinical grade cell product in a closed and GMP-compliant system that integrates all steps, from stimulation and enrichment to transduction and expansion, supporting reliable and scalable production. Participants will take part in rotational live demo and hands-on sessions, gaining practical exposure to each step of the workflow.

Cell therapy researchers and scientists, cell therapy process development specialists and manufacturing professionals, healthcare professionals who are keen to learn more about cell therapy are welcome to register for the workshop.

Programme Overview

Friday, 17 July 2026
Pre‑Symposium Hands‑On Workshop
Integrated TIL Therapy Workflow:Integrated TIL Therapy Workflow:From Spatial Analysis to Cell Manufacturing

🕘 9.00 AM – 3.00 PM

Saturday, 18 July 2026
VIVA Cell and Gene Therapy Symposium
🕘 9.00 AM – 3.00 PM
Expert‑led lectures and panel discussions

Post-Symposium Workshop: Unlocking γδ T Cell Therapies: Spatial Profiling to GMP-Relevant Manufacturing

🕘 3.00 PM – 6.00 PM

This workshop explores the practical overview of gamma delta (γδ) T cell manufacturing, designed for researchers and clinicians entering the field of cell therapy. Participants will gain insight into key process steps, including cell enrichment, selective expansion, and optimisation of culture conditions to generate potent γδ T cell populations. Participants will also learn how high-plex spatial protein profiling allows one to discover target γδ T cells, dive deep into the details of tumor infiltration, and assess the biodistribution of γδ T cells in preclinical settings. Key considerations in scalability and translation into GMP-relevant manufacturing will also be discussed. The session will also conclude with a rotational hands-on session to provide practical exposure for the end-to-end workflow.

Together, the workshop and symposium aim to foster collaboration, accelerate scientific progress, and support the translation of innovation into clinical practice.

More details will be updated—stay tuned.
