The Lighters 萊特
The Lighters is a music duo from Taiwan comprising siblings Catherine and James. Formed in 2014 and with an international upbringing spanning South Africa, the US, Canada, Germany, Taiwan, and Singapore, The Lighters has captivated audiences with their unique sound and heartfelt music in numerous performances and notable competitions.
In 2018, The Lighters released their self-titled debut EP, followed by their first full-length album 《眨眼》 In the Blink of an Eye. Their song 《愛那麼新鮮》Fresh Love was featured in the Taiwanese drama 《淺情人不知》 Love is Deep, and 《眨眼》 was featured as an original soundtrack for the Japanese movie 《阿嬤不要忘記我》Grandma is all Good. Their single《當我抬頭仰望》When I Look at the Sky has garnered more than 4 million views on YouTube, showcasing their wide-reaching impact.
The Lighters' original songs reflect their dedication to capturing the beauty of life, uplifting spirits, and igniting hope, wherever their music takes them.
