Miss Lou
Miss Lou (pronounced ‘lu’), also known as Lou Peixin, is Singapore's Glamour Vintage Songbird - a classic vintage vocalist and songwriter who seamlessly blends old-school vocals with contemporary influences. Miss Lou uses her music as a uniting force to bridge east and west, young and old, and past and present, bringing hope and warmth to all.
The winner of the Noise Award from the National Arts Council's Noise Music Mentorship 2016, she has worked with Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz), been mentored by Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster, and performed for heads of state, international organisations and brands like Ant International (Alibaba), Bvlgari, Ralph Lauren, and more, and her songs have been enjoyed by audiences from around the world.
- Wrote and produced 5 original songs for MediaCorp Channel 5 TV show ‘The Last Bout’ (2024)
- Winner of the 2016 National Arts Council’s Noise Award
- Winner of AirAsia Spotify competition and mentored by David Foster
- In 2024, her Chinese New Year jazz album 《贺新年》 (‘Happy New Year’) was played across the island at all SMRT stations, local Chinese radio stations, and into homes worldwide.
