Kawasxmi
Kawasxmi is a 15 year old, Singaporean author and singer-songwriter. As an author she published her first book at age of seven, titled “My First Baby Tooth”. In 2017, she published her second book titled “Growing Up: Raising New Lives”, of which she was interviewed by Singapore’s Channel News Asia. Subsequently, she published “Snowy’s Adventure” and “Fearless”. More recently, she produced “Macrons & Tea”, “Lyra, the Flying Angel”, 旦旦歌， 我不是猫 and 樂天派.
Kawasxmi has achieved multiple awards including Global Child Prodigy in 2022, Grand Prize winner for the 16th World’s Children Haiku Contest and Silver Award for The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition. Recently, she was awarded Diploma of the London College of Music (DipLCM) in 2022. She also received gold award at the 7th Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards International Music Competition. 我不是猫 was awarded 1st place for the ZhongSin International Music Competition, 2024. She was also featured in Hunan TV, China.
She has performed internationally across Southeast Asia, Europe and USA. Notably, she performed in Carnegie Hall, New York in 2016, 2018 and Stockholm in 2019.
