Nursing Care is a critical part of medical treatment for children with cancer. 

Since 2007, the VIVA Foundation has supported Sister Laura Tan, Senior Nurse Educator from the National University Health System to run the Paediatric Oncology Nursing Course. The course aims to provide registered nurses with specialised knowledge and skills to deliver safe and competent care to children with cancer in the hospitals.

123 nurses from public and private institutions in Singapore and the region including Brunei, India, Indonesia and the Philippines are graduates of the course.
