FIVERA Goes West End with Joanna Ampil Concert

The VIVA Fiesta 2023 is a cultural extravaganza concert that will feature a performance by FIVERA, a Thai musical group. They will showcase a diverse repertoire of songs, including Broadway hits, a Thai song, a Filipino song, and a Chinese song. Joining FIVERA on stage is Joanna Ampil, a renowned performer from the Philippines currently captivating audiences in the West End. She will bring an added flair to the show by performing songs from various cultures. The concert will culminate with the singing of the ASEAN anthem.
Prior to the concert, touching videos highlighting children with cancer and their families will be shown, offering a glimpse into their lives, struggles, and how VIVA has supported them. This serves to raise awareness about childhood cancer and the challenges faced by affected families. The concert will be livestreamed online, allowing global audiences and supporters from anywhere in the world to participate and enjoy the performance.
Childhood cancer is a devastating disease that affects numerous families worldwide, with Singapore alone seeing over 300 new cases each year. The VIVA Fiesta 2023 aims to not only raise awareness about childhood cancer but also support the work of VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer. By uniting performers from diverse backgrounds and showcasing music from various cultures, the event promotes peace, multiculturalism, and the ASEAN Spirit in Southeast Asia.
Additionally, through its musical performances and cultural displays, the VIVA Fiesta 2023 strives to promote mental wellness among participants. The therapeutic power of music in improving mental health and well-being is widely recognised, and this event seeks to harness that power to create a positive and uplifting experience for all involved.
Admission to the event is free, please invite your family and friends too and bring your own mat and picnic basket with your favourite drinks and snacks .

FIVERA
Thailand’s first and only classical crossover music ensemble.
The five vocalists of FIVERA – Nattida - “Pang” (Soprano); Mashima - “Kimiko” (Soprano); Thanapat - “Film” (Tenor); Bodin - “Tae” (Baritone); Tulanan - “Toon” (Bass Baritone) – have captivated music-lovers around the world since their debut in 2011.
Joanna Ampil
Joanna Ampil is a musical theatre and film actress from the Philippines and United Kingdom. She has many accomplishments as a singer and actress. Her albums include "Joanna Ampil" and "Try Love".
She performed in various London West End musicals including "Les Misérables" as Fantine, "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Cats".She starred as Kim in the Australian premiere of "Miss Saigon" in 1995 at the Capitol Theatre Sydney.
