The purpose of VIVA-Jumbo Seafood Shiok Feast 2021 will be to raise funds for VIVA Foundation’s lifesaving mission. VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer focuses on life-saving leading-edge research, medical care and education. We are racing against time to develop better treatments, faster cures and to make newer discoveries. We believe these would all translate into better survival rates with less late-effects for affected children. We would like to raise a minimum of $400,000 with the help of 50 Hosts and we hope you will be able to help VIVA achieve this and in the long run, rewrite the future of children with cancer. 

We are pleased to share this fundraising dinner sponsored by Jumbo Seafood. Jumbo Seafood is renowned for serving fresh and delicious seafood in Singapore. 

As a supporter of VIVA Foundation, Mr Ang Kiam Meng, Executive Director and Group CEO of Jumbo Group, is inspired by the strength and perseverance of children who are battling cancer.  He hopes to aid the needs and facilitate support for these children and the foundation to ensure they will have the same opportunities to live and fully recover to live out the full potential of their lives.

The dates for hosting VIVA-Jumbo Seafood Shiok Feast 2021 falls between 1 June to 31 December 2021, subject to blackout dates as stipulated below and other prevailing Terms & Conditions. 

 

Goals & Objectives

Through this fundraising dinner, VIVA Foundation aims to:

 

1. To raise awareness of VIVA Foundation for children with cancer
2. To communicate with donors about VIVA Foundation and its future programs through our marketing collaterals
3. To raise funds for children with cancer in Singapore and have more long-term donors
4. To raise funds for our upcoming VIVA Life Program and our Integrated Medical Centre

VIVA-Jumbo Seafood Shiok Feast 2021 Campaign Mechanics (Dine In / Delivery)

DINING IN

You have the option of having the food delivered to your home or dining at selected Jumbo Seafood restaurants (**Jumbo Seafood JEWEL Changi, Jumbo Seafood ION Orchard and Jumbo Seafood The Riverside). 

In view of the spike of recent COVID-19 cases, with effect from 22 July 2021 through 18 August 2021 (both dates inclusive) dining in will NOT be permitted at any Jumbo Seafood restaurants.

There are private dining rooms available in all selected Jumbo Seafood restaurants. An advance booking is required, and it will be subject to availability. Chinese tea, peanuts and corkage fees will be complimentary for all dine in reservations at the selected Jumbo Seafood restaurants. Any additional orders will incur prevailing taxes; Service Charge (10%) and GST (7%) and will have to be borne by the Host (you) and guests.

 

DELIVERY

For home deliveries, the set meal will be suitable for up to 5 diners and you will have the option of selecting your menu out of the two choices provided.

         

Should you host the meal in your residence, only a maximum of 2 unique household visitors a day  / group sizes of up to 2 may be permitted with effect from 22 July 2021 through 18 August 2021 (both dates inclusive), excluding family members residing in your residence. You will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity in the setup of the meal should you host the meal in your home. If you host the meal in the comfort of your home, we will send our collateral(s) to you 1 week before the meal to share with your guests about VIVA Foundation. 

FUNDRAISING

We hope you can pledge your support by personally donating SGD 5,000 per table when you dine in selected Jumbo Seafood restaurants** and SGD 3,200 when the food is delivered to your home, inviting your friends to be part of VIVA-Jumbo Seafood Shiok Feast 2021, and contributing generously.

Terms & Conditions

• Conditions for Dining in Selected Jumbo Seafood Restaurants

1. Reservations may not be placed on the eve of public holidays, public holidays and on blackout dates in accordance to the below:

Blackout Date	Sunday, 20th June 2021 (Father’s Day)
Eve of Public Holiday	Monday, 19th July 2021
Public Holiday	Tuesday, 20th July 2021 (Hari Raya Haji)
Eve of Public Holiday	Sunday, 8th August 2021
Public Holiday	Monday, 9th August 2021 (National Day)

2. Private dining rooms are available and subject to availability.
3. Hosts and guests will need to pay for additional orders (e.g.: any additional food, beverages incl. coffee, tea, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages) out of the set Menu. The additional orders will incur Service Charge (10%) and GST (7%).
4. Chinese Tea and peanuts will be served on a complimentary basis.

• Cancellation & Postponement Policy

1. Any cancellations or postponements will require a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) notice prior to the reservation.

• Corkage Policy

1. The corkage fee will be waived for all self-bought duty paid Wines and Hard Liqours (Strictly no duty-free hard liquor is allowed under the Customs and Excise Law of Singapore).

• Conditions for Delivery

1. Food will be delivered in disposable containers.
2. Food estimated arrival time will be within the delivery timing stipulated by Host (plus / minus) depending on traffic conditions not within Jumbo Seafood’s control.
