The Asia Childhood Cancer Alliance (ACCA) is a regional grouping of doctors and multisectoral collaborators from 12 countries to discuss common problems, share experiences and resources to improve survival and cure for kids.
Since 2007, the regional group has been meeting regularly in conjunction with the St. Jude-VIVA Forum in Paediatric Oncology (SJVF) held annually in Singapore.
2019 marks a significant milestone to step up collaborative efforts in Asia. Going forward, hospitals in the region will host the ACCA Strategic Leadership Meeting on a rotational basis each year around September, in addition to a Strategic Meeting and VIVA Asia Regional Education Day at the SJVF in Singapore each March.
ACCA is supported by the VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
