Check your Time Zone

The nursing symposium will focus on the essential topics surrounding childhood solid tumours that can shed light on the complexities of solid tumours in paediatric oncology and the challenges faced by young patients and their families. The theme emphasises both the medical aspects of the disease and the importance of supporting the emotional well-being and resilience of those affected. Through informed discussions and shared experiences, the symposium can add significant knowledge to improving the care and understanding of solid tumours in children.

In addition to fostering an enriching learning experience, we aim to infuse the symposium with an element of fun and interactive engagement. The KKH team propose the inclusion of the multiple booths operated by various departments, such as the laboratory, pharmacy, dietitians, child life specialists, and nurses, each showcasing different aspects of childhood cancer. These engaging booths will offer educational games and activities, providing participants with a unique opportunity to learn while having fun. Through interactive game playing, attendees will gain valuable insights into the multifaceted aspects of paediatric oncology, making the learning experience not only informative but enjoyable as well. This interactive segment seeks to further reinforce our commitment to comprehensive learning and understanding of the challenges young patients and their families face in their cancer journey.
