VIVA Foundation For Children With Cancer is a Singapore-based charity which aims to translate the high cure rate of about 90% for childhood leukemia achieved at St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, USA; into Singapore and the whole region where the cure rate in some countries are low.
In May 2006, a memorandum of understanding was signed between St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, National University of Singapore(NUS), National University Hospital(NUH) in Singapore and VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer (VIVA).
Viva Foundation for Children with Cancer, together with the support and generosity of our benefactors and Tote Board, has set up the one- stop cancer centre for treatment of children cancer at the National University Hospital, NUH .
Minister Khaw Boon Wan graced the opening of the centre, affectionately known as VUC3 ( VIVA University for Children with Cancer) on 4 March 2009.

26 October 2007, 1.30 PM, Jackie Chan was officially announced as VIVA Foundation’s first ambassador of goodwill. Concurrently, he visited the paediatrics inpatient cancer centre and Ward 46 in NUH. VIVA was happy that its invitation to Jackie Chan was accepted graciously by the international artiste. VIVA Foundation likens Jackie Chan as the ever "winner" in any battle he is in. This represents VIVA Foundation’s aim to put on a strong fight for the children with cancer. VIVA believes that "no child should die in the dawn of life".
